Hermès’ Vintage Black Ardennes Birkin 30 is a blast from the past in a very durable and scratch-resistant leather! Paired with gold-tone feet and hardware, the flap opens with a twist of the turnlock to reveal black-leather lining with one zipped and one slide pocket inside, and the dual rolled handles have a 4-inch drop for the fingers, wrist, or forearm. In good condition and stamped with a Z in a circle, it comes with a lock, keys, clochette, and dustbag, and has scratches on the metal, wear on the corners, edges, exterior bottom, and inside, a loosened turnlock, and could use a spa visit. Hermès discontinued Ardennes in 2003 and replaced it with Vache Liégée which is a good alternative but Ardennes retains its covetability!
