I really can’t see this 40-centimeter Hermès Geranium Togo Birkin at a formal event, but its size makes it ultra-useful just about anywhere else! Paired with palladium feet and hardware in the turnlock, padlock, and keys kept in the leather clochette, it has a flap that opens to tonal-leather lining with one zipped and one slide pocket inside. The dual rolled handles for the hand, wrist, or forearm have a 4.5-inch drop. Previously loved and stamped with a Q in a square, it comes with a dustbag and has scratched metal, wear on the inside, corners, edges, handle glazing, and handles themselves, a loose turnlock, and marks on the leather. Despite this laundry list, this slouchy satchel has stolen my heart and I’m sure it will make its way into yours as well!
